hiding something

Sometimes because of pride or ego or a mistaken idea, one person may not confide in another or tell them the whole truth. Have you ever been in a situation in which you didn’t want the other person to know something about you? You had something you wanted to keep secret? How did you act? Did the other person realize you were hiding something? How did your behavior change the way they acted toward you?

Yes i have hid many things which i dont really want people to know. When they ask i just try to normaly act like i didnt hear them the first time some times it works and sometimes it doesnt. When it doesnt work and they end up asking agian i just try to change the subject, that works sometimes but if not i normaly end up making some lies or if its a person i can trust i make them swear not to tell.

costume

Describe your best or worst Halloween costume ever. Use lots of details and explain why it was so awesome or lame.
My Halloween costume was lame... I dressed as a girl... It was horible. I wore this little skirt that was really bright red and this nasty wig that was itchy and some glasses. Oh and these little shoes that hurt my feet. The sad part was no one really knew it was me because i was with a bunch of girls that were dressed up as princesses, it was bad. Yeah Im never doing that again...

Edgar Allen Poe

It seems like reading Edgar Allan Poe stories around Halloween is a rite of passage for students in English classes. He wrote poems such as "The Raven" and "Annabel Lee" and stories like "The Tell-Tale Heart", "The Black Cat", "The Fall of the House of Usher", "The Cask of Amontillado", "The Masque of the Red Death", "The Pit and the Pendulum", etc.If you have read Poe stories before, which ones have you read and what do you remember of them? I have never hread any of his stories but they sound pretty awesome! I have not read other scary books or anyhing but i have watched some scary movies which i thought were really good. His stories i dont really expect them to be really scary or we probably wouldn't read them at school. I still think that i'll like them though.

If i were my dog i would think my family is crazy because we normaly lock her in the laundry room at night or just keep her outside depending on the weather. My dogs scared of lightning and thunder and i would be too, because its like a big monster to her. Than we lock her outside with the big monster and if i were her i would scratch and bark too and everytime i bark i would wonder what would zap me. I knew it had to do with the red thing that they put around my neck mostly when they were gone.
Well i wouldnt really like being my dog especialy in my family.

Well i don't know theres probably many things that i have thought has a sertian beauty to it but i can't think of much right now or i don't really care to share the one i have in mind.
I have had one where i chose completely different from the rest of the class like i was way off, I don't really know if that would count for this question but oh well...

secret

Have you ever known a secret that you thought you should tell? Did you tell? If you've never experienced this, what do you think it would be like to know a secret that you think is dangerous?
Well i dont know many secrets probably because no one trusts me but thats okay i dont really care. so no i have never heard a dangerous secret and i dont really plan to, but if i knew a dangerous secret like a horabile one i would probably tell someone (like cops) so that they could deal with it and i wouldnt have to worry about it.
I hope i never know one because knowing it might be a bad thing because it could put my life on the line if it really was serious.

Friar

Write a journal from the perspective of Romeo, Juliet, Friar Laurence or Nurse. It should take place after the end of Act II when Romeo and Juliet have been secretly married. Remember, you ARE this person writing what they would be thinking and feeling at this time. 3 PARAGRAPHS!
I think that Romeo doesnt really deserve Juliets love because he is to quick at changing his mind. One day he loves Roseline the next Juliet. I think this marriage is just going to be a waste of my time.
Hey but if it works out it will be a pretty perfect match. What if i get put to death because i am the one who married them or maybe ill get praised if it fix the hattred between the Capulets and the Montigues.
Oh well theres nothing i can do now there already married. I just hope there families dont find out or we all could be in trouble.

I dont really get this question but ill try my best. I think that my fate is to die of old age with the people I love. Well atleast this is what i hope and believe to be the truth. So i guess you could say i dont really believe in fate, I just hope for the best because what happens in life is not because it was suppose to its because it did...If that makes any sense at all. So Romeo and Juliet did'nt really have to die for eachother there just insane.

I can't wait for the party my mother is having tonight. Its going to be so nice but i don't know if i am going to like that paris kid. My mother is kind of forcing me to like him don't get me wrong i do think he is charming and hansome, but i would rather marry to someone i want to and not be forced to marry a man because of his looks and his wealth.
So im not quite sure hes going to be the one... Well not for me at least.

Define true love. Do you believe it exists?
You can't define true love its to complecated. Well right now i can't but maybe when I'm older than 15. I really don't think any 15-17 year olds can really say there in love with someone because there not they just think they are. Like i know some kids my age that are crazy about eachother and think there in love but it will probably end soon.
True love can also be dangerous because if you love someone (or think you love them) at this age than when you really love someone when you get older you just might lose a good friend.

8th AND 9th grade:If you had one superpower, what would it be and why? (Hint: describe exactly what your power would be, why you would want that one, what you would use your power for, etc. Would you be good or evil? Would you use it just for fun or for a good cause?)
If i could choose one superpower it would be... Being able to read minds but only when i want to because if you think about it its probably not good to know what everyone is thinking. like i dont really care to know what some nasty old man is thinking.
I would only use this power for good and also to mess with my brothers because they wouldnt know i could read minds. I would defeat all the evil villians in the whole world!!!! People would also call me... Mr. AWESOME.

shakespeare

9th Grade: What comes to your mind when you hear the words, "Now we're going to read Shakespeare!" Do you cringe in fear? Do you giggle with glee? What past experiences have you had with Shakespeare to make you react the way you do?
When I hear the word shakespeare! I get really scared, like insainly terrified!! I get so scared I... Well you get the point. I do not like shakespeare because i have heard it is very hard to understand and so i dont want to read it.
I also heard that the books can get really old even if you do understand what there talking about. I have never read any of it myself, so this year is the first year. My brother has read alot of it and he hates it. So I have a crazy feeling... I'm going to hate it to! Atleast i'll live.
